Highlights of Antigua

Shirley Heights – For spectacular views overlooking the harbour, take a hike up to Shirley Heights. This was once a military complex but is now the most wonderful spot to watch the sunset. Every Sunday visitors can enjoy local music from local bands with a cocktail in hand watching the sun go down, perfect!

English Harbour – The site of Admiral Nelson’s Naval base in the 1780s. Soak up Antigua’s history at Nelsons Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wonder the streets admiring it’s 18^th & 19^thcentury buildings & naval history in its naval museum. Take a break in one of the many harbour-front cafes, bars or restaurants & marvel at the many luxury yachts. With a wide range of dining options catering for all budgets, here enjoy some true Caribbean cuisine. For a break from exploring head to one of the towns surrounding beaches, take a water taxi for the greatest views.

Diving – Antigua is surrounded by warm crystal clear waters making it the perfect spot for diving. Cades Reef is a firm favourite dive spot on the island. Stretching for several miles, this protected reef is a haven for sea life, including Sea Turtles, Rays, an abundance of tropical fish & if you are lucky you may even spot the odd Reef or Nurse Shark. As well as an array of sea life to explore you can also visit one of its many wreck dive sites of the island, each with its own interesting story.

Barbuda – Antigua’s sister island. Virtually untouched by tourism it is world-renowned for its stunning picture-perfect beaches, surrounded by protective reefs. With around 1500 inhabitants most of which live in its only village, Codrington, Barbuda has a different feel to its sister island. With only one main town & one main road stretching from north to south, this island is a truly untouched paradise.
